After looking last minute for a DJ for my mom's birthday, I'm very glad I chose Next selection entertainment! They were very responsive, understanding, and did every task smoothly! Great song selection as well as a very entertaining MC! All the guests had a fun time and were very entertained.

Joel was an amazing host for my friend's wedding. He got us hyped up with a round of drinks on him to get us started which was a really nice gesture and got us hyped throughout the night. He was super friendly and accommodating

My wedding on June 2021 was one of the first weddings at Half Moon Bay since the Pandemic started in 2020. Joel was our DJ booked since 2019. He patiently waited for us through 3 wedding date changes as we waited for the world to be settled with COVID-19 and boy we are glad Joel was there.
We did discuss what we needed for the wedding, I shared an extensive list of songs divided in genres that we wanted to play and didn't want. On the day of the wedding, he smartly arranged songs that were on the list but weren't dance-able during cocktail and reception and kept the bangers for the party moments. He even sneaked in a karaoke moment that myself and the groomsmen definitely enjoyed.
If you're reading through these reviews because you got a wedding to plan, then look - I believe Joel charges a fair rate. Don't expect to pay little to get a quality DJ. Just believe in his years of experience and ability to pull it off. Make sure you communicate with him what you want and don't want precisely! Next Selection Entertainment did an amazing job!! From the pre-ceremony up until the end of our reception, they were spot on. They got everyone up and dancing. And having fun. All the music was perfect! All the lighting was great! I could not have asked for anything better. All our friends were very impressed with them. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends and family. We will always use them for any future events as well!
Next Selection Entertainment did an amazing job!! From the pre-ceremony up until the end of our reception, they were spot on. They got everyone up and dancing. And having fun. All the music was perfect! All the lighting was great! I could not have asked for anything better. All our friends were very impressed with them. Roland DJ'd and MC'd our wedding this past weekend and was exactly what we had hoped for. Communication the day of was quick and efficient and he worked in sync with our day-of coordinator. My biggest peeve from attending other weddings is when the speakers and sound system are of poor quality and don't sound crisp, clear or balanced. I was thoroughly impressed with the sound system, especially to fill such a large reception room that we had. I highly recommend Joel and Roland for any weddings or events, you won't be disappointed!

Joel and his assistant did my wedding, 10.16.21, I knew he was the right one after looking at all the other reviews and pics, he was very helpful and made everything easier, he messaged me asking what song entrance for me and my wife wanted, to the groomsmen and bridesmaids song entrance, and other music for my cake cutting and so on, even hosting throughout the night! He even made a timeline that was way more organized than the one I had! Definitely took care of us! I would give this a 10/10 review! Would recommend booking the next selection of entertainment again!
